Last weekend, I ran my final race of the year - that morning just north of the city, we started out cool and sunny - by nightfall, those of us still running finished in a snowstorm... awesome, quite literally. 24 hours later we were again back to sunshine and temperate Autumn conditions around town. But already, next weekend marks the true end of Fall - and while many places north and west of here are already experiencing white-out conditions, we here in Boston still have no snow.
Perhaps then it comes as no surprise that getting out onto local trails this weekend provided varied conditions - icy snow and water on many rocks and flats throughout the Blue Hills Reservation's Skyline trail on Saturday, and 100% dry trails throughout Breakheart Reservation in Saugus on Sunday ...much more runnable as in safer and less technically severe.
We had great fun each day - herein is my first attempt at audio/video combinations and manipulation... I'm starting to understand why people make movies, and I *can't believe* what one can do with iMovie alone. iLove my iMac...
